Our small sheep farm is tucked away on a hillside in beautiful, tranquil surroundings approximately 1 mile east of the historic market town of Leyburn, locally known as a 'town for all seasons' with cinema, shops, hotels and restaurants.
Sunnyridge is also only 2 miles from the smaller but equally fascinating town of Middleham, famed as a centre for racehorse training and breeding.
A warm, friendly welcome awaits you at our secluded detached family home boasting wonderful views of picturesque Wensleydale from all rooms.
Sunnyridge is an ideal base for touring or walking in the Yorkshire Dales - Wensleydale, Swaledale, Coverdale, Bishopdale and Nidderdale. It is also within easy reach of Hawes, Richmond, Catterick, York, Thirsk, Ripon, the North Yorkshire Moors, East Coast and The Lake District.
Visitors having an interest in history will particularly enjoy Middleham with its 12th century castle remains, Bolton Castle with its historic garden, the ruins of Jervaulx Abbey, and Constable Burton Hall Gardens.
